Settle Hub

Privacy Policy

Settle Hub stores ledger data on Cloudflare D1 (SQLite at the edge). This page describes what is stored and how.

What we store

When you create a ledger we store: the ledger ID, timestamps, hashed access codes (an admin code plus an optional read-only code), and the ledger snapshot (titles, names, amounts). Ledgers are deleted automatically 30 days after the last edit.

Access codes

Access is controlled by codes, not a login. The admin code (required) allows editing; an optional read-only code allows viewing only. We store only salted SHA-256 hashes of the codes — never the codes themselves — so a lost admin code cannot be recovered.

Third-party services

Hosting: Cloudflare Pages (frontend) and Cloudflare Workers + D1 (backend). Analytics: Google Analytics via GTM. Ads: Google AdSense (if shown) — manage personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

EU users (GDPR)

EU users: AdSense's consent prompt covers GDPR compliance for ad personalisation. The 30-day auto-delete acts as our data retention policy — you can also clear a ledger immediately by removing all entries.
